Filmmaker / Actor
Aoife Nic Ardghail is an actor, writer, journalist and filmmaker. She started her acting career with lead and supporting roles on TG4 dramas, before branching out to make her own theatre and film work in Ireland and the UK. Her first award-winning comedy short film, Casual, has enjoyed a long run on the international festival circuit. As a journalist, she has worked with the country’s top court news agency for over ten years. This regular feed of crime stories has been a wealth of inspiration for her writing and she is developing a TV drama drawing from her time as court reporter.
