Still Voices To Host Online Events for Cruinniú na nÓg 2020
Still Voices Film Festival are delighted to announce that we will be hosting two digital events for Cruinniú na nÓg 2020.
Longford:
Join us on June 13th at 11 am for our first event. A screening of three short animations produced by Longford-based animator Mary Smyth in partnership with three Longford primary schools (St. Joseph's National School, Gaelscoil Longfoirt and St. Mary's National School Drumlish). Still Voices Festival Director Ronan O' Toole will also be chatting to Mary discussing the films as well as her "Homemade Heroes" project, which Mary and local artist Hannah Carlton have been working on throughout the lockdown with local children.

Westmeath:
Our second event at 12 pm, will be a screening of 4th Year Student Projects from AIT's Animation and Illustration degree course. The projects will be accompanied by an interview with Course Lecturer, John Peavoy and Festival Director, Ronan O' Toole. John and Ronan will be discussing the course itself, the animation industry in Ireland and advice for what secondary school students can do if they wish to pursue a career in animation.
