Official Selection 2020 Announced
Official Selection for Still Voices Short Film Festival 2020 Online Announced.
We are delighted to announce the Offical Selection for Still Voices 2020. After much deliberating, our programming committee has finalised its selection for this year's online festival.

While we have had to migrate to a virtual event this year, we are delighted to present 150 films as part of our Offical Selection, the largest number of films we have shown to date. With the addition of the Student category this year, we feel this is the strongest selection we have curated.
Of course, as a festival, we are always committed to working toward a gender balance in our programming. We are delighted to say that of the 150 films selected, 50% are solely female-directed, 44% are solely male-directed and 6% are directed by a male / female combination.
The process of putting together the final selection was incredibly difficult. We were very impressed with the extremely high quality of work and we had to make some very difficult decisions when putting together our online programme.
We want to thank all the filmmakers again who submitted their work and if your film was not selected this year we do hope to see more work from you again in the future.
