When a student gets involved in a hit and run while driving one night, she goes on a downward spiral of paranoia that takes her to the darkest places of her mind.
Lidia Damatto Moreira studied filmmaking at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and later on relocated to Los Angeles, California, to continue her education in Screenwriting and Entertainment Studies. She’s also an alumnus of the Locarno Industry Academy program in São Paulo (2017) and of Berlinale Talents (2018). Since her college years, she has produced and worked as an AD on a number of short films, shot in Brazil, the US and Ireland. Highland is her directorial debut and was shot in Los Angeles and post-produced in São Paulo.
