Submission call for the Still Voices Short Film Festival 2020 now open!
A village far away in time and land. Nearby, in a forest thought to be haunted, a child falls into a pit. His grandfather, an old and nearly blind shepherd, tries to convince the villagers to go rescue him, facing the darkness of the night and their fears…
Filippo Meneghetti was born in 1980 near Padova,Italy. He had his first experiences with short films and theatre productions working in New York City. He then moved back to Italy, where he studied film directing and Anthropology at La Sapienza University in Rome. As a director he shot the short films Undici,(2011) co-directed with Piero Tomaselli,and L'intruso,(2012) both awarded in several festivals in Italy and around the world.In 2017 he shot The Beast, his first french short film. Right now he lives and works in Paris where is preparing with Paprika Films his first feature film, Deux.
