Still Voices Presents a Special Screening of Call of the Forest in partnership with Whose Woods These Are Tree Festival.
Jura, in France. A judge asks for a reconstruction of a crime scene to shed light on all the unresolved questions of a murder. The accused, a family of three Quebecois, have to strictly recreate the crime's day in front of Justice.
Jean-Marc E. Roy and Philippe David Gagné are the creators of the series "Pick-up" and "Cowboy: a Canadian dream", two great successes in Quebec. Their short film "Bleu Tonerre", was selected at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes in 2015 and has won numerous awards. Both directors are currently working on their respective feature films as well as the production of a new documentary series. They founded their production company in 2016, LA BOÎTE DE PICKUP, and their first production, "CREME DE MENTHE", was selected at the 49th Directors Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival, in 2017.
