Solar Plexus

Noah battles to overcome his grief at the death of his mother, a journey that takes him from his flat to beyond the stars.

Director Bio

David McShane is a filmmaker with a love of animation, tactility and story. He hails from Worksop in the Midlands, and recently completed Solar Plexus as part of his graduation animation project at the National Film and Television School. David considers it to be his debut film – given that his previous work ran no longer than 2 or 3 minutes. It has since become one of very few student films to compete at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
