“The Shop That Was” reflects upon the impact the closure of the shop has on the local rural community and in particular five of its longstanding customers. Central to the narrative is the role of the proprietor Frank Hughes and his relationship with the community. Featuring Mayor of Clonmel, Garret Ahearn discussing how rural decline effects a small village like Grange.
