After Love

After Love is a short, experimental dance film featuring the poetry of Dani Gill. Dani's first anthology of poems entitled 'After Love' deals with the grief, loss and transcendence she experienced in the wake of the end of a long term relationship. Stephanie received an Arts Council bursary in 2018 to research a work of dance in conjunction with Dani's poetry, and this short film is a product of that research.

Director Bio

Laura Sheeran is a musician and video director based in Dublin. Laura started working with Crash Ensemble in 2015 and has produced a wide variety of content for the group including live performances videos, documenting behind the scenes and creating live visuals. In 2017 Laura directed a music video for Crash Ensemble to accompany Donnacha Dennehy’s piece, As An Nós.
