Still Voices 2022 Submissions Open
The submission call for the 2022 edition of Still Voices is now open.
Father Athanasius is a young Orthodox monk who lives in a monastery perched in the mountains of Greece. Immersed in an austere life, made of age-old rites, prayers and great silences, Father Athanasius cultivates an irrefutable passion for luxury and high fashion. His conduct is impeccable, but everything changes when he decides to make a video selfie in the secret of his room.
Mattia Epifani was born in Lecce in 1985. Since 2010 has been working as director. In 2011 Epifani directed the documentary ‘Rockman’, awarded in several festivals. In 2015 Epifani directed ‘The Successor’, was selected for several major international festivals such as: IDFA; Hot Docs; Slamdance FF, Göteborg FF. The Successor was awarded with Cipputi award at the 33 Torino FF. In 2020 directed the short film ‘God dress you’ in international competition of Clermont-Ferrand International Short FF.
