Still Voices 2022 Submissions Open
The submission call for the 2022 edition of Still Voices is now open.
A boy meets his friend in secret, one day after class. He is offered a dance and too many meaningful looks; or it it just his imagination?
Brian Andrew Hose (26) is an American director and award-winning cinematographer based in Berlin. Originally from Colorado, Brian moved to New York in 2014, where he worked on commercial, brand identity, and music videos, including directing the premiere music video series “Jimmy”, which won the Audience Choice Award at the 2018 Boulevard Film Festival in Queens, NY. As a cinematographer, he won the award for best cinematography for “The New Galileos” from the Sicily International Film Festival. He has taught master classes in video production and storytelling at the Institute of the Arts in Philadelphia and Parsons School of Design in NYC. Brian moved to Berlin in 2017 to further develop his skills in film directing at the Met Film School Berlin, in order to gain a European perspective on cinema and focus on narrative storytelling, specifically in telling nuanced stories which can challenge or raise questions about under-represented characters and issues.
