Gaspard, 14 years of age, relentlessly records everyday sounds in the hope of waking up his comatized mother. But for his father, these experiences isolate him more and more from the outside world, and jeopardize the fragile balance of the family. Will Gaspard’s obsessive determination pay off?
Bridget O'Driscoll trained as a musician, before embarking on a career in feature films and television as a sound editor. After some experience collaborating on various scripts, she joined, in 2012, the association ‘Collectif Court’, based in Paris. With this Collectif she produced a 48 hour project, and went on to direct her 1st short film, «The Paris Hunt». In 2018, she directed her 2nd short film, «Session N° 78» a short comedy, which has won 5 prizes and been selected in 35 festivals to this day. After spending a year in the United Kingdom writing ‘Replay’ and another film project, Bridget returned to France to direct «Replay» (16’) her 3rd and longest film, produced by Claire Chassagne from Dolce Vita Films.
