In a spirit of sisterhood* and solidarity, the members of the intersectional feminist group Femplak_Wien come together to put in words the sexualised violence they have endured. This film follows the courage of this group that, through one of their actions, turn their individual stories into a collective strength.

Director Bio

Cordula Rieger is a French and Austrian film student. Since Oktober 2020, she is studying directing in the class of Michael Haneke at Filmakademie Wien. At the age of 15, she directed, wrote, edited and acted in her first short movie “Under your Skin”, that won the jury price of the festival “Video&Filmtage 2016”. Since then, she has written and directed several fictional and experimental short films. Breaking with prevailing representations of women as passive victims, she directed the play “Eine Frau.” (2017), based on the experience of a woman participating in the Austrian resistance during Second World War. In 2018, she wrote, directed and acted in the movie “Antigone - I have no love for a friend who loves in words alone”, which is an appeal to take action for political matters.
