In a fanatic dictatorship, modern dance is the secret code of the silent resistance. At out-of-the-way places in town young people celebrate the hidden joy of life with their bodies, cope with the terror they experienced. SAMT, is the introduction of a dysfunctional society that is about to implode.
Born in Beirut, and raised under the MENA sun, I grew up influenced by multiple cultures. A perfectionist by design, and a story teller at heart, drawing and animating naturally developed into hobbies. I also managed to make a living out of them, something I feel lucky for. Add to that an insatiable love for dance and movement, which is all I do on my little free time. The challenge keeps me going, and helps push my imagination, develop my skills, and achieve the satisfaction of a job well done. All of which, motivate me to keep producing even better work in the future.
