The day is here!!!
Still Voices Short Film Festival 2019 is here!!!
Over the course of the school year, Mary Smyth worked with three local primary schools to produce their very first animations. The three schools are Newtownforbes, Melview and Ballinalee. The workshops brought the children through the whole animation process; from script, storyboard and character designs to model-making, set design and stop-motion filming! The schools all chose a local story to animate and the titles of the three short films are 'The Story of Critchey McCann'; 'Queen Medbh & the cheese' & 'Granny's Wool'. Still Voices are proud to screen these wonderful films as part of our 2019 programme.
