The Official Selection for the 2022 Short Film Competition has been announced.

We are delighted to announce the Official Selection for the 2022 Short Film Competition. This year is without a doubt the strongest lineup yet and we want to thank all filmmakers who submitted their work for consideration.

We can't wait to screen the 190 films across the five days of this year's festival. This year will see all films screen online and a select few programmes screen in person.

We always strive for gender equality across our selections and this year the breakdown is as follows - 92 films solely directed by female directors, 92 films directed by solely male directors and 6 films directed by a male / female duo.

Screeing times and dates will be announced closer to the festival.
