We're delighted to partner once again with Longford animator Mary Smyth to present five wonderful shorts by primary schools from Longford, Roscommon and Sligo.
The films will be available from our website on June 12th from 11 am.

Junior Room, Scoil Cill Ronain, Keadue National School, Boyle, Co. Roscommon - 'On the Moon'
Adventurers travel to the moon ready to explore it's secrets when suddenly four of the crew DISAPPEAR. Where did they go? Will the rest of the astronauts find and save their friends before it's time to return home?
Senior Room, Scoil Cill Ronain, Keadue National School, Boyle, Co. Roscommon - 'The Bank Robbery'
A group of thieves rob a bank of money and diamonds and are chased by a Garda around the yard! Will justice be served? Who ate the party food?
6th Class, St. Mary's National School, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford - 'The Gashling Show'.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the most fantastical, famous, fashion evening of the year: The Gashling Show where you will see the latest trends, the top music rap act, superb judges and definitely a 'fair' judged clothing competition...
6th Class, Scoil Mhuire gan Smál, Ballymote National School, Co. Sligo - 'The Battle of the Curlew Mountains'
An animation based on local history. Join Red Hugh, O'Rorke and McDermot and their forces as they go into battle against Clifford, an English general and return to take O'Connors castle in Ballymote.
First and Second class, St. Patrick’s National School Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon - 'A collection of Shorts'
Throughout the year the group took part in several different animation activities. To end their animation residency each table created their own short animation with self-made paper puppets. Stories range from a day in a waterpark, going shopping, Pokemon fights and a magical forest!
