Still Voices Presents a Special Screening of Call of the Forest in partnership with Whose Woods These Are Tree Festival.
A slapstick comedy about an unhappy young girl whose life is turned upside-down when she finds a mysterious runaway with psychic powers in her back garden.
Bonnie Dempsey graduated from Ireland's National Film School Dun Laoghaire in 2000. She has been mostly making documentaries and television programmes since then. The Girl at the End of the Garden is the second in a trilogy of films for children on the theme of friendship which also includes the award winning 2018 film "All In Good Time" also produced by Dyehouse Films, Written by Rodney Lee and Directed by Bonnie Dempsey.
