Still Voices 2022 Submissions Open
The submission call for the 2022 edition of Still Voices is now open.
A capsule romance accelerates dramatically against the backdrop of the pandemic as two filmmakers are forced to move in together after two weeks of knowing each other.
Michael-David McKernan is an actor, filmmaker, and voiceover artist based in Dublin and London. Since graduating from Drama & Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin he has worked on stage in Ireland and the UK, and most recently appeared in Translations at the National Theatre in London. He is also graduate of Bow Street Film Academy for Screen Acting. Screen credits include Red Rock (Element Pictures), Quantico (ABC Studios) and most recently In Orbit (Hardback Films). He made his filmmaking debut with HALO which premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh and for which he won Best Director: Irish Short at the Cork Film Festival. His latest film, How to Fall in Love in a Pandemic, premiered at Galway Film Fleadh and won the Oscar qualifying award for Best Short Documentary.
