Projections II

Projections II

"We shall not cease from exploration And the end of all our exploring Will be to arrive where we started And know the place for the first time." T. S. Eliot ‘Projections II’ is a response to the T.S. Eliot quote, taking photographs from the last few months of 2020 when I returned home due to the global pandemic, manipulating them into topographical shapes and projecting them onto myself in a tidal pattern. Using my phone to capture the projections felt connected to the screens that have helped us through this time, as did making the visualisations from the images of nature that I recorded while exploring my local area.
