Director Bio

Enock Carvalho (1992, Brazil) is a filmmaker, screenwriter and producer. He is graduated in journalism and his shorts have been screened at more than 70 film festivals around the world, such as the London Short Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival, New Directors / New Films Portugal, among others. UNLIVEABLE is his third short film. He is currently preparing his first feature, The Dark River, co-directed with Matheus Farias.

Matheus Farias (1990, Brazil) is a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and editor. He is graduated in radio & television and post graduate in cinema at the Catholic University of Pernambuco. His shorts have been screened at more than 70 film festivals around the world, such as the London Short Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival, New Directors / New Films Portugal, among others. UNLIVEABLE is his third short film. He is currently preparing his first feature, The Dark River, co-directed with Enock. As editor, Matheus is working with Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles in their next individual features.
