Where The Leaves Fall

Giacomo, a young second-generation Italian-Chinese student, travels to the Chinese county of Wencheng to bring back the ashes of his late father; Here, in his parent's hometown, he stays with his grandfather, who becomes a guide towards forgotten paths of his culture of origin, far removed from his life in Europe.


Director Bio

Xin Alessandro Zheng is a director, screenwriter and editor. He studied at the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan (NABA) and has collaborated in the production of short films and documentaries based on Italian and Chinese soil. "Where the Leaves Fall" is his thesis short film of the Triennium of Media Design and Multimedia Arts at NABA in Milan.
