The director's brother moves back in with their parents.
Kamau is a filmmaker, film editor & documentary DP working in Missouri, USA. Recently, he photographed the 2016 HBO commissioned documentary "Stories Women Tell" (dir. Tracy Droz Tragos, 92 mins). As an editor, he cut the NY Times Critics pick, "A Stray" (2016, dir. Musa Syeed, 82 mins). As well as Awful Nice (2013, dir. Todd Sklar, 92 mins). As a director, "Crown Candy" (co-directed with David Wilson, 2016, 10 mins) won the jury award at the St. Louis International Film Festival for Best Documentary Short & "What Kind of Man" (2014, 13 mins). Baby Brother is his latest short & was supported by the Points North Institute.
