Our Beloved Festival Patron Passes Away

We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of our beloved festival patron and master filmmaker Terence Davies.

We were so fortunate to have Terence as our guest of honour in 2021. His charm and wicked sense of humour made being in his company a joy and those memories will long stay with us.

His work will stay with us as a reminder of his brilliance as a story teller and artist. Distant Voices Still Lives changed my entire life and I have no doubt it will do the same for those who discover his work for the first time.

Rest in peace Terence, we will miss you terribly.
