Still Voices 2022 Submissions Open
The submission call for the 2022 edition of Still Voices is now open.
It’s the late 70’s in London and a new generation is asking questions and finding answers, It’s called PUNK, and it doesn’t matter what you are or where you’re from. Patrick, a young Londoner growing up in the 1970’s, questions his identity. Living with his widowed mother and younger sister he’s trying to honour his late Father's memory by learning Irish music, but he discovers another music. One that speaks for him, one that’s being created by people like him, first generation Irish.
Roisin has worked in Theatre, Film and TV for over 20 years. Her writing career started when asked to rewrite female characters for pilots produced by RTE in the mid 90’s. After a successful 10 years working in theatre helping bring productions to stage from writers including Roddy Doyle, Pat Mc Cabe, and John Banville. She continued on the periphery working in script development and report on new talent for producers and production companies including Emmy Nominated BeActive Media while taking time with her three children.
